Suky Best is known for her artist books and other work employing photography and digital media. For her work, Cleeve Abbey (2000), Best has been described as "a meticulous collector of quiet moments - she captures and stretches out small passages of time as she watches the details of life in the countryside". She has used "aerial photography, video clips and other images to highlight the way we divide space and time to make sense of our surroundings" (Matthew Finn, University of Wolverhampton).

Suky Best (b. 1962) is a graduate of the Royal College of Art's Photography programme, having also studied at North London Polytechnic and Sir John Cass School of Art. She lives in London, has been involved in a variety of exhibitions and artist residencies within and outside of the U.K., and is a former fellow in Printmaking at the University of Wolverhampton (1998-2000).
